Quality Guidelines for Official Statistics

The aim of this book is to give statisticians the skills to develop quality accurate statistics for their country while at the same time making ethical choices that respect the privacy of other citizens. Key concepts such as reliability, impartiality, cost effectiveness, confidentiality, and relevance are covered in some depth; and readers learn how to craft statistics that meet European and Finnish guidelines (which can be adapted to meet other national needs).
