Marzia Rango

Data Innovation and Capacity-Building Coordinator

Marzia Rango ist the Data Innovation and Capacity-Building Coordinator at IOM’s Global Migration Data Analysis Centre (GMDAC) in Berlin, where she leads the centre’s work on data capacity-building and data innovation. She is currently also managing a project focusing on migration on the Central Mediterranean Route. Prior to joining GMDAC, Marzia worked at IOM’s Research Unit in Geneva, and as a Research Assistant at the Refugee Studies Centre, University of Oxford. She has previous experience as an MEP assistant at the European Parliament in Brussels and as a consultant in the private sector. Marzia holds an MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and an MA in Economics from Università Politecnica delle Marche, Ancona.
