Quantifying Global International Migration Flows

This article presents an innovative methodology for estimating migration flows based on changes in international migrant stocks. Also innovative are the use of circular plots to visualise these phenomena. Using these visual and methodological approaches, the article presents findings on bilateral flows between 196 countries from 1990 through 2010.
