Jana Lajsic

Former Consultant at German Council on Foreign Relations and Former Intern at IOM GMDAC

Jana Lajsic has a background in migration and asylum policies of the EU and South America. She completed her undergraduate studies of Social Sciences at Humboldt University in Berlin. After that she spent a year in Santiago, Chile as a holder of a DAAD scholarship participating in a Master´s exchange program at Pontifical Catholic University of Chile in the field of Public Policy. Her work in the field of Migration started while interning at the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Department of International Migration. Subsequently she worked in IOM´s Global Migration Data Analysis Centre (GMDAC) on the Migration Data Portal. Afterwards, she contributed to the Migration Program of the German Council on Foreign Affairs as an External Consultant.
