Main destination countries of Afghan migrants, mid-2020

Nearly 74 per cent of the estimated 5.85 million Afghan migrants resided in neighbouring countries in Southern Asia -- more than 46 per cent and 27 per cent resided in the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan respectively (UN DESA, 2020).
