Jorge Galindo

Jorge Galindo is the Communications Officer at the IOM´s Global Data Institue in Berlin. He manages the Institute’s external visibility activities and liaises with the media and key partners to position the GDI as the leading source on migration data and analysis. He has over nine years of experience working in communications in multilateral settings. Before moving to Berlin, Jorge served as Public Information Officer for the IOM mission in Nigeria for three years. Prior to joining the mission in Nigeria, Jorge was the Public Information Officer for Migration Management at the IOM Headquarters in Geneva. Jorge is a Mexican national and holds an MSc in Intercultural Communication from Tilburg University in the Netherlands, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Puebla, Mexico.
