IOM data overview

Through a large footprint of offices worldwide, the International Organization for Migration  (IOM)  collects and reports on original data from a number of sources in its own programmes and operations. Some of this information is publicly available while other is for internal use only. In all cases, data collection and management adheres to IOM’s Migration Data Governance Policy. In case IOM processes personal data of beneficiaries, this is done in full respect of IOM’s Data Protection Principles. In principle, only anonymized data may become publicly available. In no case would personal data become publicly available if the beneficiary has not consented to it.
